The Earth Charter Initiative is the global network that embraces, uses and integrates the Earth Charter principles. Fundacion TierraVida shares the Earth Charter’s vision and promotes its principles and strategies.
The Red Ciudadana Nuestra Córdoba network aims to contribute to building a just, democratic and sustainable city. It gathers social organizations, universities, research centers, professional associations and citizens of the City of Córdoba. Since 2012 TierraVida is part of the Environment Working Group (EWG).
Red+VOS network brings together organizations and individuals that, with the aim of raising awareness about Sustainable Development, carried out the Rio+YOU Global Mobilization Campaign in the framework of the Earth Summit “Rio+20”. TierraVida was a founding member and coordinator of the Campaign and currently acts as a facilitator of the Network.
YouthMovements.org is a platform for youth organizations to share information, promote projects and initiatives in a collaborative way and to celebrate progress to meet the world’s most pressing problems.
Zero Waste Youth brings together young people who fight for a world with zero waste, meaning send nothing to landfills or incinerators, the application of the 3Rs, taking responsibility for each of the actors and communicating the need for reduced consumption. Since 2012 TierraVida accompanies and participates in activities to promote the concept of Zero Waste in the Latin American region.
Cordoba No Nuclear’ Campaign is a platform launched by TierraVida together with other organizations such as CEDHA, Eco-Sitio (Villa Maria), Greenpeace, Los Verdes-FEP and Red Nuestra Cordoba to demand that the Province of Córdoba abandon nuclear activities no later than January 1, 2014 .
The Campaign #CórdobaNoNuclear is looking to motorize actions to disseminate and make visible the nuclear problem of the province, specifically in regards to the life extension of the Embalse Nuclear Reactor, 100 kilometers from the city; the need to close Dioxitek and the strict compliance of the ban on uranium mining established by the Law 9,526.
