Today, the department of University Social Responsibility (USR) at the Universidad Siglo 21, Fundación Querubines and Fundación TierraVida, launched the project “Sustainability Promoters,” at the university headquarters.

The overarching goal of the project is to increase the social inclusion of young people with special needs in higher education and to provide them with improved job and communication skills, while increasing their content knowledge of sustainability. This goal is achieved through the development and delivery of a multi-course college track.
A portion of TierraVida’s role in this project includes the development and delivery of sustainability related educational materials for the sustainability module. TierraVida believes that education is key to sustainability and that it is important to create spaces of inclusion so that all young people have the same access to education and can fully realize their potential.
